Tonkatsu Tonki

Friends often ask me if I miss authentic Japanese food but I always reply that I don’t miss it at all since San Diego has lots of nice places to dine out and, if I had to live without Japanese food, I think I could make it. There are exceptions to it, though. A Tonkatsu restaurant Tonki… It’s not the quality of the food I miss but the atmosphere of the place. The staff moves very sharp and brisk, and the tabletop made of plain wood has a pleasant feel…..
